We’re Raising the Educational Standard for Children’s Futures
How can you be sure your child’s education is really instilling the skills they’ll need in the future? By the time primary age children become adults, the world of work will look very different. As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly integrated into our lives, a modern education should prepare even the youngest children for a world where AI will play a significant role.
In response to this, we’re excited to announce the launch of our unique St. Francis’ Curriculum 24 from September 2024, which has been specifically crafted to ensure our students thrive in a different world through the development of vital personal skills such as critical thinking, adaptability and analytical abilities. With as much focus on personal development as on academic success, our character-based curriculum is designed to:
- Build self-confident, ambitious young people from the early years by using play-based learning, through to encouraging personal achievement across the spectrum of subjects, not just academically but also in the Arts, Sport and Humanities.
- Empower students from an early age by encouraging risk-taking, for example in outdoor learning, through to offering significantly more individual choice in extra-curricular opportunities.
- Develop modern and global citizens of the future by ensuring inclusivity, diversity, equality, acceptance and appreciation are at the heart of the curriculum.
- Help students embrace a changing workplace by developing the core skills of creativity, collaboration and communication.
- Inspire students to dream bigger and equip them to achieve their goals by instilling our DREAMS values: determination; resilience; empowerment; appreciation; motivation; security.
